Howland Community Animal Hospital is Hiring!

We are looking for a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our fun-loving hospital!!

At Howland Community Animal Hospital, nothing takes higher priority than the health of our patients. Our greatest mission is to continuously provide the highest quality veterinary care and services to pets and their people in Warren, OH and the surrounding communities. We are a full-service animal hospital that places strong emphasis on wellness and preventive care, along with soft-tissue surgeries and extensive care for sick and injured pets. We tailor treatments and recommendations according to each individual pet’s age, breed, medical history, and lifestyle using low stress handling techniques.

Our hospital is currently going through a remodel, we will have 4 exam rooms with plenty of natural light and beautiful views of the small airfield. We are a growing 2-doctor practice with a Tech to DVM ratio of 2.5:1. Our hospital has great equipment with a new ultrasound machine, therapeutic laser, surgical laser, electronic medical records, in-house lab, pharmacy, dental x-rays, dental table, lift table, and a brand-new digital x-ray! We perform general surgery including spays, neuters, mass removals, dental procedures, and limited orthopedic procedures.

Whether you are a new graduate, or an experienced doctor, we are the practice for you! Our supportive work environment enables doctors to pursue all their interests in vet med. We are passionate about mentoring and supporting veterinarians through our Mentorship and Leadership Development programs. Our Mentors receive extensive mentorship training and are now Certified Clinical Mentors, so any new graduates can participate in a structured and rewarding mentorship program.

Our Management and medical leadership are committed to supporting our team through career development, continuing education, and personal goals.  All Veterinarians will find interesting, diverse, and challenging cases, with a manageable caseload. Ideal qualifications:

• All experience levels considered
• Ohio Veterinary License – active and in good standing
