Our 3-DVM team delivers same-day sick pet care supported by advanced diagnostics, including in-house CT scanning and ultrasound. Surgical procedures are led by our veterinarians and a dedicated LVT surgical technician, while outpatient care is supported by a robust and skilled team of assistants and technicians.

The Opportunity

As Medical Director, you will play a dual role:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care to patients
  • Leading the hospital’s veterinary team through mentorship, medical oversight, and collaboration.
  • You’ll help shape the medical standards of the practice while fostering a culture of positivity, continuous improvement and growth.
  • You’ll play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the hospital.

This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience who is looking to grow professionally and make a lasting impact.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily medical operations and ensure high standards of care
  • Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to associate DVMs and staff
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and retention of veterinary team members
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to hospital protocols

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Michigan – Active & Clear License
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
  • Prior leadership experience preferred but not required
