At Medical Lake Veterinary Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier medical and surgical care to a wide variety of patients—from beloved pets to exotic companions, farm animals, and equine friends. While small animals make up about 85% of our caseload, we’re actively growing our large animal and exotic services—making this a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian with interests in those areas.
Medical Lake also provides large animal services including horses, cattle, small ruminants, etc. We have a clinic truck for farm calls but do not require overnight on-call shifts.
We can add something along the lines of urgent care cases are common so someone with an interested in UC would be encouraged to apply.
Our brand-new hospital is nestled on 19 scenic acres, offering a peaceful, rural atmosphere that’s perfect for both work and relaxation. Our spacious, fully equipped facility includes:
State-of-the-art in-house lab
Advanced surgical equipment including monopolar cautery (Bovie)
- Digital radiography & digital dental radiography
Portable ultrasound
Cold laser therapy
Full surgery suite with two surgical tables
Comprehensive in-house pharmacy
Whether you're performing routine procedures or emergency surgeries, you’ll have the tools, team, and space you need to do your best work.

A team-focused DVM who thrives in a collaborative environment
2+ years of clinical experience preferred (but not required)
Active Washington State Veterinary License (or ability to obtain)
