Dunckel Veterinary Hospital (DVH) is hiring a Full-Time Experienced Associate Veterinarian (1+ years of experience required) to join our long-standing, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Davison, Michigan.

About Us
We are excited to announce that our hospital will be moving into a brand-new facility in December 2025, located at 1490 Cal Drive, Davison, MI. The new hospital will feature:
• 12 exam rooms and a comfort room
• Dedicated ultrasound/laser therapy room
• Surgical prep area with two surgical suites and a separate dental suite
• Brand-new digital x-ray (full body and dental)

DVH is currently a 3-DVM practice, with 3 additional veterinarians joining in 2026, including two new graduates. We also have a visiting doctor who performs orthopedic and more advanced surgeries every other Wednesday. In addition, SVS provides ultrasound services on a regular basis.

While our core services remain consistent, we are planning to launch Urgent Care in Spring 2026 to better serve our community.

Davison, MI is a welcoming community in Genesee County that offers boutique shopping, antiquing, hiking trails, and plenty of recreational activities. Residents enjoy seasonal events such as the Festival of Flags, Pumpkinfest, and family activities at Lake Callis Recreation Complex. Conveniently located near Flint and other major cities, Davison has something for everyone.

Required Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university prior to position start date.
• Licensure must be in good standing to practice in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
• Interest in urgent care or surgery is a plus, but not required

Clinical Tracks Program

Committed to helping teammates grow, we proudly offer over fifty hours of in-depth, RACE-approved CE credit facilitated by veterinary specialists to grow teammate clinical skills and enhance the care of our patients.
